Foreigners working in China must be at least 18 years old. There is no upper limit of age for Type A high-end foreign talents. For Type B professional foreign workers, the upper age limit is generally no more than 60 years old. However, if it is necessary, the restrictions of age, academic qualifications or work experience may be relaxed for innovative and entrepreneurial talents, professional and skilled talents, outstanding graduates, or those who meet the required standards set by the Points Based System for foreign professionals, or those who are implementing the intergovernmental agreements.
According to China’s regulations, the employers who intend to employ foreigners should apply to the local human resources and social security department and to the administrative departments for employment permits or expert permits for foreigners. Foreigners permitted to work in China need to apply for Z visas in Chinese embassies and consulates with the letters of visa notification and employment permits or expert permits for foreigners.
Foreigners shall go to the pubic security organ for the work-type residence permits within 30 days after the entry so that you can work in China.
